Ghost Stories: a Meg and Lorette Writeathon is the Halloween edition of our creativity flexing series. These four hour sessions are designed to eliminate the blank page, plunge into pure creation, explore new avenues without self-censorship, build a library of drafts, story ideas, and notes and sparks for poems. You will work independently while connecting with others in a private Facebook group. You will choose from a variety of prompts including visual artworks, vintage photography, word lists, and exercise themes and ideas. In the Ghost Stories edition, we will explore the idea of ghosts and what it means to be haunted. Works created from these writeathons will be eligible for submission to ROBIN: a literary quarterly, with details coming soon, after the Halloween session!
